OPPO is expected to extend its Reno series in India. The company launched Oppo Reno 4 Pro on 3 July. The Reno 4 Pro is the most advanced version of the Reno 4. The device comes with a huge spec-sheet at a high price point. The Reno 4 Pro is a powerful setup that features some of the most distinctive features. It’s getting a distinctive and powerful triple-camera setup.

Aesthetics

So, the very first thing you notice is the how light weight and sleek this phone is and the back feels very different at the back with a Matte texture and the phone weighs 161 grams and it’s just 7.7 mm thick.

It comes with corning gorilla glass 6 and even its matte finish is fingerprint resistant too.

Display

On the front OPPO Reno 4 has 6.5inch 90 hertz full HD plus super AMOLED display and OPPO calls this a 3d borderless sense screen because its curved 55 degrees around the edges, anyway the curved display looks very good so far especially because it’s very bright and contrast and colors are great.

The two-surprising thing about the phone are, this has a headphone jack and there’s a dual Sim plus micro SD card dedicated triple slot.

It comes with the snapdragon 720g chipset, it comes with Color OS 7.2 on top of android 10 with 8GB ram and 128GB of inbuilt storage it has 4000mAh battery with 65-Watt charger.

Cameras

Now let’s talk about the camera functions, Reno 4 Pro has the quad camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony imc 586 sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel macro lens but the camera experience here is interesting.

However, what I found very cool were the camera features firstly there’s AI color portrait which mutes the background into black and white while keeping the person in the frame in focus and I think it works really well.

There are few more cool new effects when it comes to videos, there are three filters: crimson forest green and sky blue and these enable you to capture a video which help you to capture only these colors while the background is black and white.

Overall, the phone looks good, so these were the first impressions of OPPO Reno 4 Pro.
